Mom’s Prayers Answered!

We’ve been moving so we’ve been offline for a while but we’re back now, all moved in and getting situated! At the food distribution Monday, a woman met Emil as soon as he went in the door and gave him a big hug and said, “You’re the answer to a mother’s prayer!” He said, “I’m sorry, I don’t follow!” and she said, “I’m the mother of the 19-year-old you talked to 3 weeks ago. I don’t know what you said–it’s between you and him and the Lord–but whatever it was, he is totally changed! He’s happy! He’s praying and reading his Bible and WANTS to go to church! I’m just thanking God for you and your ministry!”

Raising peoples’ expectations!

Among others, we prayed for two men at the food distribution Monday with ear damage. We prayed for God to heal and restore their hearing but we could tell they had no expectancy that anything would change. We continue to pray for their healing so that they will know that God IS big enough to do ANYTHING! Nothing is impossible for Him. We prayed last week for a woman whose daughter had been murdered two years ago but although the killers are known, there has never been an arrest and she was hopeless. This week a TV reporter has spoken with her and put the story on the list of topics to air. We pray it happens and it results in justice for this woman and her family.

Food Distribution Update

Monday was our second time praying for people waiting to receive their food bags (see previous post for further info about the food distribution). We saw four people we prayed for the week before and ALL of them were changed! The one man who had been so agitated the week before when we met him was beaming and going from table to table greeting people and then helping to clean up afterward with the biggest grin on his face! The other three came up to us with huge smiles and hugs. We got to pray for 8 more people this week. We love this door God has opened for us. An additional benefit is that we get to meet people from the churches that take turns volunteering to pack the food. They all have a love for the people of Storm Lake and the sense that God is about to do pour out His love in a big way on this area!

Free Prayer at Food Distribution

I met the guys from “The Bridge Ministries” of Storm Lake at a pastors’ lunch and I asked them about Karen and I getting involved in their weekly food distribution. They said, “Sure! but only if you’ll come and do what you do best–PRAYER! We have plenty of people who want to bag and give out food but no one wants to pray for the people!” They put a prayer request box out and a group prays over the requests during the week but many families come early to get food and also want prayer or ministry right then.  I said YES and THANK YOU, LORD! Yesterday we attended our first food distribution and prayed with eleven people! One man who seemed very agitated when we first approached him became considerably calmer as we began to pray with him. The Lord gave us a word for him and he totally received it and then re-dedicated his life to Jesus! Before our eyes he was transformed into this kind, gentle, sweet man that hugged us before he left!!! The Holy Spirit gave us many prophetic words for people and they readily accepted His love for them. A few cried as we prayed for them!!! The Lord found us a new weekly roadside indoors!!! There were many more people that we didn’t get around to so we will be there earlier next week!

Man took off his oxygen tank and walked!

Emil was asked to accompany pastor friends to visit a man with recurring cancer who couldn’t walk and couldn’t be without his oxygen. Emil heard a word from the Lord and that opened the door to the miraculous results. His wife cried as she told them they knew there was a root and had been praying for God to reveal it. When they left the house, the man had been walking around for over half an hour, all his color returned, and his oxygen tank was in the corner! TY Lord!

Prayer and Coffee

Had a great impromptu prayer time with a customer at a coffee shop this morning where we were meeting with another couple. The customer mentioned she was experiencing great pain and the doctors hadn’t been able to find the source and her doctor was out of the office today so she didn’t know what to do. We asked her if we could pray for her and at the end, she said she felt warmth all through her upper body and no pain! TY Jesus!

BWB is Turning 10 Years Old!

Bikers with Boundaries Ministries celebrates its 10th anniversary September 12th! We’ve seen about 500 people come to the Lord, numerous healings and miracles, plus many suicides averted. God has done incredible things on the roadside and He’s not done yet!
