Many came to Jesus for the first time through the revival meetings, and healings and miracles happened as well–a woman was healed of lupus and another healed of MS! And in the Free Prayer trailer, we were busy, too! People came who had been used, abused, thrown away, accused, people whose relatives had been murdered, people who still carried the guilt of hard life-changing decisions made years ago, people with illnesses from mild to extreme. And after encountering Jesus, they left free—from physical conditions, from emotional scars, from mental torment! His love is like no other—it turns mourning into dancing! We can’t stop praising Him and lifting Him high!

Friday we set up the Free Prayer trailer in the middle of Alton, Iowa. It was the trial run for the solar panels which were installed just that morning, and they worked beautifully!!! We were out for over four hours and prayed for 6 people. One man asked where we go to church and he and his wife came to the Sunday service! This Friday through Sunday morning we will be set up in LuVerne, MN plus leading afternoon city outreaches Friday and Saturday. We are praying for the extreme heat forecasted to be spiritual, not physical—the fire of the Holy Spirit drawing people to Jesus and a cooldown of the projected 90+ degree temps with high humidity!

Last Friday night, July 1st, we set up the Free Prayer trailer at the Okoboji Revival sponsored by Activation Church in Orange City. Had a great turnout, incredible worship and fantastic speakers! We had a line waiting outside the trailer for most of the evening. We saw everything from God answering prayers for healing of a brain tumor, emotional issues, psychological issues, family problems, prayers of repentance, and one person came to the realization that he had never asked Jesus into his heart and did so right then! It was a wonderful evening with people from Activation Church joining us to pray for everyone who wanted prayer! God is teaching us a new word for 2022: WOW!!! All the way home, as we talked about the people who wanted prayer and the way God answered, we heard ourselves repeatedly saying, “WOW, Lord, You’re amazing!”

We just returned from the 2-day Field of Dreams Revival in Dyersville. One of the pastors of our church, Activation Church in Orange City, hosted the event and invited us to participate. We set up the trailer at the best possible spot, between porta-potties and the ice cream truck! We ministered Saturday for 8 straight hours to 16 different people who were transformed and set free by the Lord through emotional and physical healing, deliverance and prophetic words! It was absolutely amazing! Because of this event, we have been invited to set up Free Prayer at 5 more events this summer plus 2 days at RAGBRAI (the annual bicycle ride across Iowa). We are excited and so grateful to God to be a part of His revival!

The Lord gave us a third set-up site during our morning prayer the other day. We are to return to the vision we received while in Colorado of doing Free Prayer at the end of our own long driveway! Well, our driveway here is definitely LONG! But it isn’t on a main road. In fact, someone once told us, “It’s going to be so quiet here, because nobody will come down your street unless they have a purpose!” Well, GOD has a purpose! And over the past 18 years, He has regularly led people to us while they are driving, “Take a detour and go down this road,” or “Instead of making a left turn, turn right!” and HIS divine appointments begin! For people who want privacy when stopping for prayer, this is the place!

We had a great divine appointment on the roadside yesterday, resulting in two salvations and a deliverance from trauma and fear! God always amazes!

We’ve been experiencing a heat wave here for the past two weeks. The end is in sight–Monday! We’re happy for our main floor air conditioning and for window fans upstairs which help keep it bearable to sleep. We will need to invest in some typing of portable air conditioner, though, for the extremely humid season in July and August! However, this has not kept us off the roadside where we have actually had a few people brave the heat to get out of their vehicles and come into the trailer! We are more widely-recognized since we have been out regularly this month, receiving honks and waves and thumbs-up. Please pray that those who are being drawn by the Lord so He can talk to them will stop!

We had another snowfall that put off our going out after our last post! However, the warmer weather is going to start again tomorrow and we expect to go out Monday! No snow in the forecast! We are anxious to park, put down the ramp and turn on our “Open” sign!

It’s been warm the last few days, above 30 degrees!!! It’s going to be 31 degrees today! The snow is melting, leaving mud and puddles in its place…until the next snowfall that is! Spring has not sprung, I’m sure, although it definitely feels like it! We were officially approved to use the site we mentioned February 4th. The State Police and Sheriff gave us enthusiastic approval to be there. The site is the pull-off/driveway of a Christian radio station tower, within sight of our house, on Hwy 71, right where we want to be. The radio station is also enthusiastic about our being there. The only block to our setting up has been the huge ice/snow drift blocking the driveway, but with this “warm” weather, we’re keeping an eye on the melting process!

A woman stopped this week, got out of her car all smiles, but when Emil asked her a question, in the speed of 0-100, she manifested, full-blown! Yelling, screaming, swearing for it seemed like 5 minutes. “This is all you do? You think this is enough, parking your little trailer out here? You need to be out there, doing more to help people!” Karen tried speaking to her but she looked at Karen and yelled, “Don’t tell me I don’t have an intimate relationship with God!” and then turned back to Emil to yell some more. At that point, Karen stepped in between her and Emil and took the woman’s hand, told the woman to look her in the eye, and gently repeated everything she had said, that God loves her, He’s FOR her, He wants to help her, and then asked the woman what she heard that said she didn’t have an intimate relationship with Him? The woman immediately calmed down and stopped manifesting. Then we cast that thing out! After that, the woman apologized profusely for the outburst. We were able to minister to her broken and hurting heart, and she left hugging us and saying how much she loved us!
