Our new website page, “The Free Prayer Project,” has all the details plus a Goal Meter and Donate button! Please read about it. We would love to have you partner with us in advancing the Kingdom through this new venture which allows us to offer Free Prayer year-round without weather interruptions.
Mason City Vineyard Sunday
Looking forward to preaching and doing ministry at the Mason City Vineyard this weekend! We’ve had a busy summer since RAGBRAI. In a nutshell, we preached the first Sunday in August at Christ’s Love Vineyard in Pocatello, ID. Within a very short period of time, we lost our two places where we regularly set up Free Prayer here in Storm lake, Iowa, one to construction and another to complaint. BUT GOD…gave us a most awesome place in town where almost everyone in Storm Lake passes by at least once a day! He is awesome!
Getting the Bike Ready!
Got the bike out, got the trailer out! Now gonna finish getting the trailer restocked for the roadside Free Prayer season!!!! WooHoo been waiting all winter for roadside prayer to resume!!! Planning to be out by Monday after this weekend rain!!!
Opportunities at RAGBRAI
RAGBRAI, The Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Race Across Iowa, is coming through Storm Lake this summer! The race begins in Sioux City on July 19th and our community of Storm Lake is the first overnight stop on this week long ride. Last year we set up free prayer in Mason City, IA and got to see this spectacle for the first time. This year we know more what it will be like, and plan to take some advice given us by a rider last year that if we move free prayer along the route through the week, bikers will see us more and have more opportunities to come for that Divine appointment with The Lord! Now is the time of prayer and preparation for this big event.
Praise Report!
While at church yesterday Emil prayed for a guy who sought prayer for his mind and memory loss which made him fearful of alzheimers, but he also had hearing loss of 60% in one ear and 20% in the other. Emil saw a picture of a deaf and dumb spirit attaching itself to this man, and once delivered of it his mind became completely clear. Then Emil prayed for his hearing and it was completely restored. Thank You Jesus!
A Week’s Worth of Roadside in 2 Days
Emil returned from a 2-day ministry trip Sunday night and as he related all the things God had done and said through him and we wrote them down, we realized he had put in as many hours of ministry in two days as we do on the roadside in a week! And it’s normally that way when we minister out-of-town. God always finds a way to use us through the freezing-cold days of winter! We are grateful and humbled.
Officially international!
We had our first international ministry session yesterday by phone–a lady from Alberta, Canada! Thank You, Lord, for what You did for her. You are so good!
Emil elected Chaplain
